I work for the Acacium Group, which is a leading global healthcare delivery partner. We combine access to workforce, technology and sector expertise to increase the sustainability of the global healthcare system from early-stage clinical research, to acute and palliative care. I work as Chief Nurse and have a particular responsibility for providing effective, visible leadership across Community Services, to improve patient care standards and the quality of service delivered.
As I have progressed in my career, I have found a particular capability in tackling environments where care or systems and processes are facing challenges or require turnaround and I find quality improvement of services and workforce extremely rewarding. I also have oversight of all safeguarding concerns within Community Services, working with safeguarding teams and other professional groups. I am trained at level 4 safeguarding adults and children which is refreshed yearly.
I have delivered a wide range of innovative projects to improve and transform the workforce within an organisation and across the Acacium Group, I have developed the skills required to provide strong leadership, support a change in culture and behaviour to ensure full engagement, impact and sustainability when being involved in the implementation of a new strategy.
I have had experience of managing multi-million-pound budgets for more than a decade. Within services that I have managed or led I have always been able make saving which could be put back into patient care.
I have a vested interest in supporting St. Catherine’s School as my daughter attends the school and I live within Hoddesdon. I would be interested in contributing to her and other children’s development. I believe the skills and qualities I have developed in my Health Care career will be of value in the strategic development of the school by being part of the governing board.
