Yesterday was Clean Air Day – a national campaign to raise awareness of how we can limit air pollution and encourage people to consider what they can do to make the air around us cleaner. It was really encouraging to see so many children walking and scooting to school – thank you to everyone who took up the challenge to leave the car at home and choose a more active way to get here. One small way that car drivers can help to improve the air quality around school is to turn of the engine rather than leave it idling as children are dropped off or collected. Thank you for being so positive as we approached families with stickers and leaflets!
