My background is legal and administration. I have a wealth of experience of governance in a range of different settings. I was Chair of the Governing Board, for Christ Church School in Ware, from 09/2010 – 09/2013. I have experience in requirements for all aspects of governing board affairs, encompassing administration of diarised meetings and agendas, high-level team-based approaches, clear roles and accountabilities, collaborative decision making, delegation and recognising strengths to lead the school and continually improve student performance and achievements. I have also been a Governing Body Clerk, for the Essex Clerking Agency, form 09/2013 – 09/2016. In that role I served in a customer service and relationship management capacity to advise governors and appointing bodies on scheduling elections and appointments using consistent procedures, in addition to various constitutional, governance and procedural matters. I believe that with my above experience from being a Chair of Governors to Clerking Governing Bodies, that I have the knowledge and the skill to help the St Catherine’s Governing Board to meet their objectives
